Whichever agent, it doesn’t matter

People often ask what I think of agents. Which is best, which to choose, which is most impressive. My answer never changes: it doesn’t matter.

Whichever one. Whoever built it. Whatever technology is behind it.

A brilliant intern, left alone

An agent that is not supported intelligently, with real business know-how, is a brilliant intern let loose alone in a store on a sale Saturday, or alone at a trade counter on a Monday rush. Fast, motivated, full of knowledge. And it will cause damage, because no one taught it the trade.

Where the value actually sits

The value is not in the agent. It is in the support, in business know-how that no technology can replace.

That is the whole logic of BOUCLR: agents are only worth anything when tied to your context, framed by your rules, and kept under human control. The agent proposes, the human validates. It is also why governance is not an added layer, but the foundation.
