The customer who never comes back
They don’t slam the door. They don’t complain. They just stop coming, and no one notices. Yet that is where a huge share of revenue lies dormant.
The customer who leaves you doesn’t slam the door. They don’t complain. They don’t write a bad review. They don’t ask to speak to the manager.
They just stop coming. That’s all.
Nobody measures those who leave
And no one notices. Because at most companies, retail or trade, we measure the ones who come in, never the ones who have stopped coming. We celebrate the new customer; we overlook the hundred long-standing ones who quietly fell asleep.
Yet that is where a huge share of revenue lies dormant. With people who already know you, who already trusted you, and who sometimes wait for nothing more than a sign.
You still have to know who they are
You still have to know who they are. That is exactly what an anti-churn agent does in BOUCLR: store by store, account by account, it spots the customers drifting away, from a few simple signals (recency, frequency, amount), and prepares the win-back in your voice. You adjust, you validate, you send.
Revenue already acquired costs far less to keep than to win back. And knowing which one to wake, when, and with what message: that is craft. It is one phase of the loop: detect, prepare, let humans decide, measure the effect, start again.
